Bug Description

QtiPlot (ver. 0.9.8.9-17) crashes (quits immediately) in Ubuntu 18.04 LTS when selecting python as the scripting language, or when loading a file with python specified as the scripting language. I have found the same behaviour in two separate fresh installs of Ubuntu 18.04. Worked fine in 17.10.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: when I start qtiplot from the terminal, it returns "Segmentation fault (core dumped)" when the crash happens.

Exactly the same for me! On 4.15.0-42-generic #45-Ubuntu SMP Thu Nov 15 19:32:57 UTC 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux=Ubuntu 18.04 QtiPlot crashes if python is specified as scripting language. Modifying the QtiPlot.conf-file (ScriptingLang=python, MuParserCLocale=false,ForceMuParser=false) does not influence the behavior, ie, still muparser is the default scripting language.
