Bug Description

I created a build chroot click target in trusty and later upgraded it to utopic. Later I created a second utopic build chroot click target.

Now, I cannot tell which is which in the GUI (Tool > Options > Ubuntu > Click) since the only info listed for them is Series, Framework, and Architecture, and the information presented is identical.

This means i don't know which Update, Maintain, or Delete button to use to manage a particular chroot.

Observing that the "name" of each chroot is available in the Build & Run > Kits dialog. If this name could be displayed in the Ubuntu click dialog (perhaps on mouse over?) it would enable the user to differentiate the click targets.

We will implement some sort of information panel for the click chroots. That might be an "Info" button what opens a dialog with the most important details about the chroot. Like creation time, path, etc. or just a simple tooltip showing the path.

Anyhow, even if upgrading a click chroot to a newer ubuntu release is not impossible and neither blocked by anyting, it is something what is not recommended to do.

The problem with customizing the click chroots is that you might get your project build against your unique and special API set and create a package what will not work on the device or emulator.

The best practice is to keep the click chroots as they are and recreate them regularly.

What would be a valid request is to make click able to create chroots from a specific channel. So I could make a devel-proposed devel or a stable chroot. Or even a chroot with a specific revision of the device image. That would be a good feature from the click project (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/click)
