Menu bar not showing

Bug Description
I installed for the first time in Kubuntu. There is no menu bar available (e.g file/search/help etc..).
The menu works in other apps (i can hide it and show it with F10).
I uninstalled and re-installed. I also rebooted. No menu bar.
I know there is one, I was using the program in Windows recently.
Please help!
