Newer version I just uploaded to experimental has a new dependency on appdirs - added to MIR.

appdirs is fine. Tests are weak sauce, but they do exist. Otherwise is a nice, small, in sync package.

python-os-client-config is mostly fine. I did notice an oddity with its tests. It only runs the python2 ones, not the python3 ones. And modifying it to do so results in some test failures. That should be investigated.

The issue with the py3 tests not working are due to keystoneclient not being py3 enabled just yet - I expect py3

For now getting reliable py3 tests is not practical - py3 enabled is a secondary goal for the next two cycles.
