Bug Description
Distro: Ubuntu 9.04 fully up to date
Level of irritation: Maximum
So I am sure this is not entirely pulseaudios fault but here is the lowdown. My system cant even play a friggin mp3 without skipping. It's just an mp3... my ipod can play an mp3...
Steps to reproduce
1) Reboot machine to make sure *nothing* i could have done may have caused this
2) Log in
3) Turn on rhythmbox and play an mp3
4) Cringe as the music skips its way down
Expected results:
Crystal clear audio playback like in every other OS, including ubuntu 8.10
System Specs
Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.4GHz
3GB RAM
Intel GMA 4500HD
I mean come on here... this is rediculous...

You should be able to resolve the audio abberations by turning glitch-free back on in /etc/pulse/ default. pa. See https:/ /lists. ubuntu. com/archives/ ubuntu- devel-discuss/ 2009-February/ 007108. html and https:/ /lists. ubuntu. com/archives/ ubuntu- devel-discuss/ 2009-February/ 007150. html.
