The "GENERAL OPTIONS" section notes that the -x option "Shows the extended format" and the -d option "shows the device format".
There is no documentation of what information the extended or device formats contain. The only hint given is in the STANDARDS section, which unhelpfully states "No standards apply, but pmap looks an awful lot like a SunOS command."
