Bug Description
Binary package hint: popularity-contest
My AMD64 dapper machine is unable to upload results to popcon using HTTP. I see lines like this in the syslog:
/var/log/syslog:Sep 14 16:15:25 hostname popularity-contest: unable to submit report to http://
I think the problem is that /etc/cron.

Here's a guess at a fix on the basis of the Debian
upload script. It runs, but obviously I can't check
it actually DTRT, especially as the README and FAQ
links at the popcon site are broken.
