Bug Description
When applications such as the Software Center need authorization, the authorization dialog persists on the screen after password entry is completed. The authorization does not seem take place until the auth dialog is closed. The installation process does not take place until after the authorization dialog is completed.
This also happens in other circumstances that require authorizations, like file system mounting.
