Bug Description

Even though my HP Gaming Hybrid laptop on CPU Ryzen graphics works really well with Kubuntu 20.10 there is no easy way to launch applications using the Nvidia 1050 discrete GPU. The only way I am able to launch using the discrete GPU is by changing to "on-demand" mode using sudo prime-select on-demand then launching applications using __NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia.

I do believe their is supposed to be a Launch app with discrete GPU option found in the Open Application Launcher in the Advanced Options found on the Application Tab (https://userbase.kde.org/Plasma/Tips#launch-app-with-discrete-gpu). I do not see this in the advanced tab on Kubuntu 20.10. The options I see are run in terminal, run as different user, and enable launch feedback. I can not see the Launch app with discrete GPU option anywhere.

Even though this option in the advanced panel will be nice it would be even more helpful to make this option more obvious for novice users if possible.

More information for this bug may be found in bug Bug #1894852 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-450/+bug/1894852) which I originally started when I could not get my discrete graphics running on this laptop.
