Binary package hint: pidgin
1) Ubuntu 9.04 with latest updates
2) pidgin Installed: 1:2.5.5-0ubuntu1
3) Save animated smiles in msn network by right-clicking on them, and choosing add custom smiley
4) Smiles saved as static, without animation
