Bug Description

Multiple known memory leaks are present in the version of Picom shipped with mantic. After upgrading to mantic, the OOM killer started killing processes randomly on my Framework laptop 13 (Intel 12th gen). All the swap was filled. Killing picom instantly freed the swap and solved the issues.

Upstream has multiple opened issues where they suggest building from source as they fixed many memory leaks, but they do not have a release yet:

https://github.com/yshui/picom/issues/1056
https://github.com/yshui/picom/issues/960

I have attached the configuration of picom I am using, that was working fine on lunar.
