pcsxr keeps hanging in Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat

3) What is expected to happen when playing Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat files is after the first mission Protect Schnappleburg, when one gets past the animation, the game returns to the Paymaster Dietrich's Caravan screen, and a brief statement is made by Dietrich advising that there are reinforcements.

4) What happens instead is as per the attached freeze.png it consistently hangs at the beginning of the brief statement.

This is reproducible with the same version of pcsxr on Windows 8.1 x64. However, it's not reproducible with 1.9.93.

This does not happen with the same game files in Windows 8.1 x64, or Windows Vista Business 32-bit with:
