pcmanfm desktop prefrences doesn't create icons on second display

To reproduce first make two non mirrored displays with arandr I had them with my 1366x768 ldvs to the left of my 1024x768 VGA monitor. Then make there be no icons on either either desktop. If you have show menus by windows manager in pcmafm dialouge checked on uncheck it and then right click on the desktop and click desktop prefrences. then go to the second tab and on both the first and second desktops and uncheck all of the show Documents show trash and show connected places icons on desktop. on both displays then try to add the documents icon back on the desktop prefrences . I expected an icon to show up but it did not. It does appear on the first screen on my laptop but not the second.
