However, this is not the case on Lubuntu 20.04, 64bit: after execution of the terminal command, the wallpaper image gets only updated when the mouse passes from the terminal window onto the desktop. It is basically the same bug reported on github:

It seems that this fix is not included in the current version of pcmanfm-qt under Lubuntu 20.04, as also discussed today in the IRC #Lubuntu chat (thx guys for your kind help there!).
Please, can we make use of the fix from above and include a new version into the Lubuntu 20.04 system? Thx a lot.
