Bug Description
My laptop has no internal cd drives. I use the disk mounter applet to manage an external USB drive and various flash drives (ipod, usb keychain, etc).
Everything works just fine, but there is an annoying "phantom" cdrom1 entry that never goes away. (This is distinct from the correct "External CD-RW Drive" entry for my hotplugged device)
I wasn't sure what logs would be helpful to attach, but let me know if I can provide any more information to help with troubleshooting.

Thanks for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use? Does your /etc/fstab mention that cdrom?
