Bug Description
This will probably never happen to anybody else, but when installing Dapper
(2006-01-05) I managed to cause the formatting of a partition to fail. I
manually edited the partition table (as normal), but wanted to double check I
was overwriting the correct partitions, so shelled out to BusyBox, mounted the
one I needed to check so could see its contents, then continued with the
installation. This caused the formatting stage to fail. After manually
unmounting the partition, it was formatted correctly. Maybe the format stage
could force an unmount before it starts?

I don't think this is a bug. It's like partitioning will fail if you unplug the HDD. And I don't think that the formatter should force an unmount. Also there was no activity for this bug for more than 2,5 years. I'm closing this bug.
