Bug Description
Binary package hint: debian-installer
Description: Ubuntu karmic (development branch)
Release: 9.10
Installed onto Two Dell PowerEdge 2670's each with 16GB of RAM (so we have replicated the behaviour) on top of a PERC5 Hardware RAID 10 setup providing 3.0TB of available disk space.
Assuming the version is the same on the CD media (iso image downloaded on 05/10/09) this would have been done with version 20081029ubuntu66 of the debian-installer.
I would have expected Swap Size to be calculated to be 32GB (2 * 16).
Instead the installer calculates ~48GB.
affects: | debian-installer (Ubuntu) → partman-auto (Ubuntu) |
