Bug Description

Binary package hint: paris-traceroute

I'm unable to run paris-traceroute. Here is an output:

ktk@ktk7:/tmp$ paris-traceroute www.youtube.com
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'TrException'
Exception : [ERROR](Server.cc, 51)Cannot create the server : Operation not permittedCancelado
ktk@ktk7:/tmp$ sudo paris-traceroute www.youtube.com
[sudo] password for ktk:
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'TrException'
Exception : [ERROR](IP4Header.cc, 239)Invalid source address : Cancelado

I'm running paris-traceroute 0.92-dev-2 on Ubuntu 9.04

The problem remains the same since 2009. I'm able to reproduce it equally on Ubuntu 15.10. Any chance of getting this fixed, guys?

In my case the output is slightly different:

from a regular account:
