terror@hellcartel:~$ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 8.10

When I posting message to news group by Pan, meesage is sending but Pan crashes and close. This is a log:

root@hellcartel:~# cat /var/log/messages|grep pan

This happens in 9.10 as well, but it doesnt seem to generate an error log.

Every posting crashes PAN. When I restart all previously downloaded messages are gone and the newsgroup status is reset.

It pretty much renders PAN unusable, which is a shame because KNODE has constant problems as well.

Hello, that is what i have just run into: pidgin app crashed while using jabber conference with a lot of participants.
