Bug Description

Hi there! I have updated to OTA 14 and have a terrible issue visualizing some HTML5 based games and apps in Aquaris E5 (https://uappexplorer.com/app/ovi.hankamotz, https://uappexplorer.com/app/tuxhunter.mateo-salta, https://uappexplorer.com/app/rz.nemo-meng) Many other HTML5 games and apps runs Ok. In M10 FHD that apps visualized normally. Any idea how to solve this?

@Hankamotz, can you please describe the issue in detail? I installed TuxHunter in my BQ 4.5 and indeed I have issues with the screen flickering all the time, until it turns totally black. But given that I didn't play this game in another device, I'm not sure that this is the issue you are seeing.

Can you please clarifying, what is the problem exactly?

Yes, is the same issue, before OTA 14 update tux hunter and other games works fime. After udate screen flicks all time and turn to background color, this is the problem. On M10 FHD this games still fine.

There is something common in all apps that didn't run correctly; all of them use pixi.js

This toolkit uses WebGL or Canvas2D as a fallback, so this could be a
regression in either of the 2.

For reference the game https://github.com/MattSurabian/DuckHunt-JS runs fine in webbrowser-app on amd64 with oxide 1.18.5. This indicates the problem is more specific to the armhf build and touch platform.

On my krillin (E4.5) running the latest rc-proposed image, webgl doesn’t render correctly (despite chrome://gpu claiming that webgl is hardware-accelerated). This has version 1.18.5 of oxide. The original report is for OTA14, which IIRC has oxide 1.17.9. On my arale running 1.18.5, webgl renders fine, so this seems to be Aquaris-specific? (E4.5 and E5)

Even in BQ Aquaris M10 HD (cooler) , Games works fines, so it seems to be very E4.5 and E5 specific
