package otrs2 2.4.9 dfsg1-3 squeeze1build0.11.04.1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2

Natty (11.04) lots of stuff installed, only tor, dropbox and spotify from outside Ubuntu's own repos.
"unable to locate package name" in answer to 'apt-cache policy pkgname'.

installing drupal6 +deps&stuff, this "otrs2" complains about db config, if I understand right. The message:
<code> "dpkg: error processing otrs2 (--configure):
 subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)" <code>

so this is where dpkg exits, and nothing gets installed any longer.
