Bug Description

Binary package hint: os-prober

os prober properly detect lucid, that is installed on one partition, but failed to detect the karmic installation from which I'm starting it...

I wan't to use os-prober, because the 10_linux script from grub is creating entries for all kernel and pointing them to the karmic partition, even lucid...

os-prober is smart and detect automatically that the kernel from lucid has another root partition, but he failed to detect karmic...

I don't think os_prober is supposed to detect the current running OS, isn't that 10_linux's job?
If I understood correctly, you want only one kernel to boot your karmic from, right? Why not delete the older linux-images?
