Openoffice space bar does not move cursor from extreme right

Bug Description
Binary package hint: openoffice.org
While typing in Openoffice the space bar does not move cursor from extreme right (the end of the line) to the next line below.
Because I do not get a visual cue I keep pressing the space bar and finally when I type the next letter there are many 'white' spaces.
1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System -> About Ubuntu.
Ubuntu 9.04
