2007-04-13 15:50:54 Matthias Klose openoffice.org: importance Undecided Low
2007-04-13 15:50:54 Matthias Klose openoffice.org: statusexplanation this can be fixed by installing openoffice.org-style-tango; the default is to select the "human" theme which is installed by default. the -human theme isn't installed by default, because it would add another 5MB to the CD. The icon selection stuff should be changed to only select the installed icon sets.
2007-04-13 16:23:15 Sergio Zanchetta description Binary package hint: openoffice.org-style-tango Feisty fawn daily build, 12.04.07 After a fresh installation, I changed just the icon set of the Human theme, choosing TANGO. When I started openoffice (writer, calc etc...), its icons disappeared. If I choose another icon set under theme, everything works fine, and tango icons in openoffice are ok. Moreover, choosing GNOME theme Tango (and others based on it) causes OOo to use Crystal icon set (really not well integrated to the Desktop) when openoffice.org-style-tango is not installed.

Stephane V., you told in your explanation that this bug wasn't fixed at all, who are you making fun of? See my previous post for other things to fix. Thanks to the update's alerting me to this bug, I now have icons. However, the fix didn't give me any icons (it didn't do anything noticeable). I now have icons because some of the comments alerted me to the existance of icon themes for OOo. Installing openoffice.org-style-tango did the trick. So, in summary, this bug isn't fixed.
