Feature Freeze Exception justification: On the one hand, it feels important to get OpenIPMI current in Yakkety, at least, given that 2.0.18 is rougly 6 years old. Also, the Debian maintainer(s) have returned and produced a normal, non-NMU release for the first time in some time. Technically, I had this merge ready to go, but dropped the ball in the server team's new review process, completely my fault.
On the other hand, there are a number of bugfixes listed in the changelog (attached to this bug) (I apologize for the format, but because the upstream maintainers do not maintain a NEWS or ChangeLog file, I can only provide the git log of commits).
