Bug Description

This is Dutch

Thanks

I can confirm the bug. The software centre screenshot doesn't reveal any information about what causes the bug though. It just says that (some) dependencies couldn't be solved.

A screenshot from synaptic does reveal this information however. See attached screenshot.

Apparently the openAL and SDL bindings are too new, and synaptic can't find proper openGL bindings for the TAO framework, because it only has a libtaoframework-opengl3.0-cli (instead of 2.1).

The screenshot would reveal quickly (and without translation issues) whether the system is Ubuntu 9.10 (where the issue is known, but unlikely to be fixed) or Lucid (Ubuntu 10.04 Alpha/Beta) where the issue has been fixed.

At this point it is important that the installation error is fixed in time for the next release that is due shortly.

Sorry Paul, should've mentioned that.

In my case that's still 9.10

For future reference, is there an easy way to show version etc. in a screenshot? Cause so far I haven't found a 'systeminfo'-program or something like that
