Does 5.15.0-56 fix the issue?

No, I still can't boot in 5.15.0-56.

Btw as I can recall, it also happened in the previous LTS version of Ubuntu, it didn't fix until I upgrade to the current LTS (22.04).

Ok, please install install nvidia driver:
`sudo ubuntu-drivers install nvidia:520`

Before reading your comment about nvidia:520 above, I change the nvidia driver by using Software & Updates > Additional Drivers. Now it is "Using NVIDIA driver (open kernel) metapackage from nvidia-driver-525-open (proprietary, tested)".

Magic, now things get reversed:
- Can't boot with 5.15.0-50
- Can boot with 5.15.0-56

Btw, is it the same as `sudo ubuntu-drivers install nvidia:525`?

I think so.

Good to hear it's working on latest kernel, since I am not that familiar with the nvidia driver dependency :)
