Bug Description
This is yet another case of a hard freeze which started happening after upgrading to Ubuntu 12.04. The freeze usually happens when using Firefox to access something like a Youtube video. Though this is not always the case.
The upgrade was done about two weeks ago and when I did a update Friday the freeze started happening within minutes after the Desktop was powered up. IE: The problem was much worse after the upgrade!
The Dell is also freezing under Ubuntu 2d whenever I start Firefox!
The freeze is immediate and it has not happened under Ubuntu 2d with any other application.

- Xorg freeze + [nvidia] Xorg freeze |
affects: | xorg (Ubuntu) → nvidia-graphics-drivers (Ubuntu) |
I have discovered what MAY be a workaround for this bug. I installed gnome-session- fallback 3.2.1-0ubuntu8 on my desktop and [so far] I have not experianced any freezes while running gnome classic. I would like to wait a while to be sure but it looks good so far.
