When using an external HDMI monitor, the screen frequently goes blank for a few seconds. This only happens with the external monitor and not the integral screen of the laptop.

This is usually a problem with display connection quality. Please try a different HDMI cable.

journalctl -b0 > journal.txt drm/*/status > connections.txt
