When trying to use applications requiring OpenGl 4.6, it does not work. No drivers allow login except for nouveau. NVIDIA 3060

Previously, after much toil and hardship ;), I was able to address the issue, seemingly by accident. I got a new m2 drive to separate windows and Ubuntu and so did a fresh install of both. They are now dual booting fine and everything works there. The problem arises when trying to open any software requiring OpenGL4.6 on Ubuntu.

I tried to install the proprietary drivers using the GUI to no avail, just unable to load to login, flashing cursor. I then reverted using safe mode via root.

I tried installing the "tested" proprietary drivers using the GUI with the same issues. NVIDIA states I should be using the 535 version and that is the tested version provided as well.

Previously the solution was the untested proprietary driver which initially broke the install and had to fix it using a usb and going into the system through protocols I know nothing about, just following a tutorial based on whatever the error was.

Previously the issue seemed to revolve around mesa drivers to some extent as well.

Upon changing to another driver I expected it to fix my screen to 1080p, and the "tested" one did but only when using the previous grub version, otherwise just a black screen with blinking cursor I/O not working. Upon which I would work out whatever previous errors came about as I expected them from my experience before.
