Bug Description
NVidia proprietary driver doesn't react when the laptop power is connected / disconnected. Tried both 352 and 355, same behavior.
The acpid.socket path is correct (tested by changing the AcpidSocketPath option in xorg.conf and then it complains that it cannot connect to acpid).
After the laptop is suspended / resumed, the situation from when it is resumed is correctly determined, and it stays like that until suspended again.
This is a problem when trying to use conservative settings when running on battery but switch to performance mode when on AC.
Cheers,
