Bug Description
Ubuntu 14.04
The version of the package came up as "unable to locate" but I'm sure there's a separate bug report for that
I expected my computer to run
It crashed instead
I have been playing on it for two years or so and it's been fine. I switched to Ubuntu after Windows deleted its own boot drive after a fatal error. The Ubuntu has been doing fine except for the numerous errors upon start-up that pop-up saying that a system error has been detected and asks me to send an error report. Gaming also crashes, as I have experienced with multiple steam games including Civilization V and Borderlands 2. I thought at first it was a heating problem, which it may be, but everything points to the problem of having a faulty graphics interface due to incompatibly with Ubuntu. I am using an Nvidia graphics card and I never had errors with it when using windows, so it is definitely an Ubuntu problem.
