Jaunty: No repair of damaged ntfs partitions possible

Bug Description

Currently I cannot repair a damaged NTFS partition with Ubuntu. With MS Windows XP, it's easy and user friendly (it ships with chkdsk).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think ntfs-3g supports this. It does seem like a useful feature though, you may want to file a feature request with upstream.
