Same crash here on Ubuntu 8.04 AMD64 Alpha 4 with all updates installed.

but it seems it's the problem of using an ndiswrapper.

Does anyone here NOT have an SMP system? In other words, does anyone NOT have a multiprocessor or multicore system? You may see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symmetric_multiprocessing#SMP_capable_processors for a list of SMP capable processors.

Additionally, I would appreciate if some people look at Bug 193811. It may be either a duplicate of this bug or at least related, but it would be appreciated if we can make sure first. Thank you.

The old saw that "you can't prove a negative" applies, but so far I am not reproducing the problem after installing the new .deb.
