npviewer.bin continues to run after firefox freezes and is killed

Binary package hint: firefox

 In 64 bit Ubuntu, firefox sometimes freezes on a flash object. When you kill firefox, the flash object stays behind. When you kill the application npviewer.bin, it goes away.

steps to reproduce
1)start firefox
2)go to a page with flash content
3)killall -9 firefox-bin

flash will remain onscreen and float above everything else.

need to do killall npviewer.bin to get rid of it.

I too see this bug, as it happens quite often in Firefox when viewing any website with flash. The flash ads in http://www.slashdot.org somtimes even cause npviewer.bin to crash.
