Overflow of long messages does not show the first line

Bug Description

Binary package hint: notify-osd

Steps to reproduce:

1) Send a notification using the following command:

notify-send "Title" "1

lastline"

Expected results:
If the specification is followed (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/NotifyOSD#Overflow%20of%20long%20messages), then we should have a notification as:

Title
1
...

5

9
0
lastline

Instead of that, the first line is ignore and we get:

...
