Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

If the DHCP-server is offline for a couple of hours the connection is deactivated (for example, Auto eth0).

NM does no attempts to automatically reconnect nor can you configure it to do so.

Small (poorly written) script to workaround this problem

This script needs cnetworkmanager which can be found at http://vidner.net/martin/software/cnetworkmanager/
