Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

I'm using Ubuntu 9.10, and facing this problem since installing it,
The modem was working fine in previous release i.e in ubuntu 9.04. Right now I'm using wvdial to connect , but network-manager is unable to connect. If i use package of 9.04 ( network manager of that version ) then it is working !

I've installed NM 0.8~a~git.20091129t233245.1669e3a-0ubuntu1~nmt1_i386 installed from daily PPA
Modem manager Installed: 0.2.git.20091130t054946.01db3f1-0ubuntu2~nmt1~karmic

I don't own the device now, so cannot tell if the problem exsists in new version.
