Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

This crash occurred when I tried to set a static IP/Net-Mask/Gateway//DNS for my desktop. The changes were not saved and a crash warning appeared on the screen. (That is how I am filing this bug.)

 1) Ubuntu 9.10 Beta with all current updates (2009-10-03)
 2) network-manager:
     Installed: 0.8~a~git.20090923t064445.b20cef2-0ubuntu2
     Candidate: 0.8~a~git.20090923t064445.b20cef2-0ubuntu2

          100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
 3) I expected my IP/network settings to be changed and remembered.
 4) A crash report was generated automatically and my network configuration has not changed from default settings.
