Bug Description
Attempted in:
OS: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS & vpnc: 0.5.3r550-2build1
OS: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS & vpnc: 0.5.3r512-2ubuntu1
connection details default.conf:
IPSec gateway 192.1.1.1
IPSec ID THE-GROUP-ID
IPSec secret GROUP-SHARED-SECRET
Xauth username USERNAME
Xauth password USERPASSWORD
DPD idle timeout (our side) 0
Debug 3
The vpnc account connects successfully for between 10-20 seconds and then dies, with daemon remaining persistent after connection fails. ie process running, but ping fails. Debug (3) mode fails to give indication as to what failed...
