When attempting to connect to a Cisco VPN using RSA soft token, the connection fails with a cryptic "failed to connect". This configuration has been working for months with no issues.
When connecting on the command line with the correct configuration entered into the /etc/vpnc/
~$sudo vpnc
Enter password for <email address hidden>:
Enter your new Access PIN, containing 8 to 8 digits
'x' to cancel the new PIN procedure:
At which point entering a new password, twice for verification, will exit with a successful change notice.
After this change has been made, both vpnc and network-
Possible solutions:
1: It would be beneficial to simply notify the user of the password change being required. In order for this to work, and the user to make the change, the user would have to first correctly configure the /etc/vpnc/
2: Pop-up prompts to allow the user to complete the required change.
