sporadic loss of submenus

Bug Description

I do have the openvpn package installed too

ii network-manage 0.9.4.0-0ubunt network management framework (OpenVPN plugin

No sure it is the cause, but I notice it since I need to access the submenus which disappear from time to time. Haven't tracked it down and is the reason I took as long as I have to log the bug.

I'm attaching two screenshots that display the problem.

seen in raring as well. This happens usually when the internet connection is disconnected by my provider. The vpn goes down, and only a restart in network manager helps.
