With netbook-launcher, when a user puts the mouse over an application icon in a folder other than the favourites, then the icon is highlighted and a '+' symbol will appear, which allows the user to add the application to her favourites.
If instead the user clicks on the application to start it, and then exits the application without moving the mouse,
then the icon's highlight is removed, but the '+' symbol remains. Moving the mouse at all will restore the highlight. I'd expect the icon's highlight to be restored as soon as it is revealed, as the mouse is still over it.
If the application is started from its icon again, and the mouse is moved to the taskbar at the top of the screen before the application is exited, then the '+' symbol is not removed from the icon. The mouse must be moved over the icon and away again for the '+' symbol to be removed. I'd expect it to be removed as soon as the icon is revealed as the mouse is no longer over the icon.
