Bug Description
Binary package hint: netbook-launcher
upgraded my UNR install to karmic on mini-9 for modem testing I am quite happy with the new look. Here the first impression comments i made on ubuntu-mobile:
19:17 < asac> and on launcher the apps have too much spacing in between
19:17 < asac> not enough fit in the area
19:18 < asac> have to scroll even on favorites
favorites has 17 app elements.
imo, the vertical spacing for the app elements is too wide especially considering that UNR is supposed to run on systems where screen real estate is quite crucial.
on first glance it feels like the vertical spacing is == the horizontal spacing, which imo is not necessarily needed if we can get more out of the tiny screen.
just my 2c

I suspect this may have been related to a bug a while back we had where apps with long names were sometimes flowing into one another. Haven't seen that in a long while, but you're right that currently it looks like there a bit *too* much space between them.
