Happened while running Synaptic. Could be related to Wine 1.3 installation

Same issue here. I saw a couple bugs with this, all on 64 bit systems. Maybe a reason?

Found a "solution."

Open a terminal and run: sudo apt-get install -f

No idea why it didn't update properly, but this got it going for me. Very odd, I think.

sudo apt-get install lib32ncursesw5
sudo apt-get upgrade

-> Problem solved.

Don't know why this solves it, but I got this solution from here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=10463828 and it worked perfect for me.
