For future reference you might be interested to know that a lot of applications have bug reporting functionality built in to them. This can be accessed via the Report a Problem option in the Help menu for the application with which you are having an issue. No need for this to go upstream as the mount-archive.desktop file comes from Ubuntu

Reproduced in Nautilus 3. Default icon is displayed.
Attached merge requests fixes this - 'folder_tar' icon is displayed

Default icon set doesn't contain an appropriate icon. Any ideas which icon should be used here?

In newer versions it had a standard 'undefined' icon and the item has been dropped now from the current Ubuntu serie, closing
