1) Ubuntu 19.10
2) 1:3.34.1-1ubuntu1
3) There should be no bar between bread crumbs and the search icon. If I remember correctly.
4) There is a bar between bread crumbs and search icon.

Thank you for your bug report. Why do you think there should be a bar there? It seems like an upstream design decision...?

I think the bar is a bug. If I maximize Nautilus, the bar disappears. If I minimize Nautilus, the bar reappears.

Looks like https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/nautilus/-/merge_requests/475 means it's improved/fixed in the new version
