package mythtv-database (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

i have been having trouble with all versions of mythtv install since puting a hauppage hvr-950q usb tuner (myth 0.25 wont recongize tuner at all) and install never fully completes database is always an issue or directories. even after completely removing all associated files
