Bug Description

This happens, if I preinstall mysql-server on a customized live cd. In this case the problem occcured by using the reconstructor tool. In UCK its the same problem.

The Problem is partly discussed on the launchpad site of Ubuntu Customization Kit

The error occurs at first inside chroot. There mysql-server cannot start service. With a little fix package it is possible continuing the build anyway.

If I start my Customized Live DVD the Error you receive here occurs.

If you install the system mysql-server works absolutely properly.

The Problem for me in this case is, that I cannot implement databases on the live CD.

Hope you can circle the problem. At the Moment I do this part of working with an installation-script for the webgui on my customized Ubuntu.

Best wishes and good luck in finding the source of the error

Greetings

Andre

I guess the failure is caused by myself.

The problem just could have been from the failed installation of mysql-server in a chroot-environment. I didn't switch off the mysql-server of the host, which may be the reason for that error (Two Servers sharing one port)

I will test that the next days and report about it here.
