package mysql-server-5.5 5.5.22-0ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

I upgraded to the latest version of ubuntu this morning and it during the upgrade it asked me if I want to update my my.cnf file for the MySQL. I said NO and now I can't start mysql :( ..
